I have lived here in Muskoka since the mid 80’s after graduating from Georgian College, creative arts program. In 1992, I had a unique opportunity to learn the technique of painting on the backside of glass in Bavaria, Germany. This art form is called Hinterglas. As a full-time artist since that time, I have continued to develop, grow and share my work. My charcoal pieces have a bold impact with the subject matter while my watercolour paintings show soft delicate lines with translucent colours. Even with these two different mediums, my approach with the subject matter is the same, I create a whimsical atmosphere involving the Muskoka Fairy world.
