These paintings are a series. They were painted as one large painting and then cropped into squares. I painted them as part of an exercise where you work very quickly, using a minimal palette and a variety of marks. They are made spontaneously without judgement. That contributes to their energy and liveliness.  These are now custom framed in black with white mats and low glare art glass.
