Bright playful colours and shapes make this a lively series. Some collage is incorporated.  I follow an artist named Bibby Gignilliat from Sausalito.  She does a lot of work with collage and sells many square paintings that are very simple and free.  She likes collecting scraps from billboards and using graphic marks. .  Using her as my model, I created this little series I called Play 2.  I had created an eariler series just using markers and pastels called play.  I try to follow Picasso's advice.  He says, "Every child is an artist.  The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up."
